[whispersystems] remove avatars in one-on-one conversations

Hello everyone,

I suggest to entirely remove avatars in chats between two people. They
only make sense for group chats, but in one-to-one chats they
unnecessarily use up a lot of space (we can see who we talk to at the
top and the avatar at the top should stay of course). This will,
especially for small screens, make reading more fluent.
Additionally, I would also narrow the space between two consecutive
bubbles a little, the margin is quite big at the moment.

Hey,

yes, the margin is qite big, but on the other hand, a smaller margin
might make the layout feel crowded.

Moving the avatar to the title bar would save space in one-on-one
conversations, while the current layout keeps the look of all
conversations consistent, so it wouldn't make much sense to do this
change for all screen sizes, imo. Doing it only for small screens breaks
consistency across screen-sizes, though.

Hopefully, someone with more experience than me can give you a more
satisfying answer!

I`d rather remove them on all screen sizes. My screen is 5 inches and
even there those avatars are really annoying/disturbing and hindering
the fluency of reading. There is absolutely no need to remind me again
and again who I am writing with. One avatar at the top is more totally
enough.
