[whispersystems] Logo change reason?

I'm wondering if anyone has insight into why the signal logo changed (on Android anyway). It seems a bit coincidental that the logo changed shortly after the vault 7 leaks and it has made some of my contacts nervous that whispersystems have somehow acknowledged the app was insecure.

Hi Bryan,

The logo has changed so as to be consistent with the logo of the iOS and
desktop versions of Signal. This version of the logo has been around for
a while.

Signal's security was not affected by the vault 7 leaks.

Personally, I liked the old Android version of the logo better, but hey.
