Hi,

on some of Lilias comments on Github it sounds like you guys switched to a
"new designer" who is responsible for the Chrome App.

Since there are a couple of wrong design decisions in my opinion, I'm
wondering whether the UI can be seen as final or not.

Maybe there are other designers with experience in the messenger area who
can support your current designer to have another mind / point of view on
the app.

Greetings,
Max

I agree that there's room for improvement on the UI. As an example - the
attach icon is pretty ugly (placeholder for now?) the compose field font
should match the font that is in the conversation panel, etc. Small tweaks
like that are easy to make it more polished. That being said, this is still
in early development and testing so those aethetics aren't likely to be a
priority for the team. A public roadmap and some mockups for the what the
end game is might be helpful for general concerns like this.

Two big things I'd like to see change:
When you first install, it gives you a list of all the people who have
signal installed down the left hand side. The first time you start a chat
with someone, the list goes away. There's no way to get it back, at that
point you can only search for users - it would be nice to have a way to get
back to that list (unless I'm missing it).

Give me a way to delete individual messages from a chat (like the mobile
client) instead of the whole chat.

"Art is never finished, only abandoned in despair."

Our most recent designer was working with us on a short term contract. We
are currently looking for a full time in-house designer to join us in San
Francisco, if you know anyone.
