I second Alaa Agwa’s previous comment. I am in the process of evaluating Signal protocol / server for a chat deployment, https://github.com/WhisperSystems/Signal-Server <https://github.com/WhisperSystems/Signal-Server> does not appear to be documented on website or github. Unit tests failing as well (perhaps I have not run correct mvn goal). Would really appreciate some direction or how-to guide.

Hello,
I wrote about this long time ago, but still no answer on this list. Is it the intention that the server is open source, however no one can build it based on the published codebase?

It is open source, but not many people are building and trying to run
the server qnd OWS does not offer help with this due to limited
resources. So basically you're on your own here.

Did you Google it? Look for forks on GitHub?

This should get you started but there are some missing pieces and updates
you'll have to handle since this guide is a bit out of date. Good luck.
