[whispersystems] Desktop: disable notifications

Hi guys,

first of all thank you for bringing Signal to the desktop - it makes
chatting so much easier!

It would be great, though, if the popup notifications could be easily
disabled. Currently they even show up when the chat windows is closed
(which is generally fine), with no way to disable them (less fine).

It's kind of embarrassing when messages from your sweetheart keep
popping up while you're giving a public presentation... :)

I agree. Maybe it would make sense to have a *Do not disturb* mode, not
only for presentations but also for times where you need to focus on other
things/you need to work. I would have disabled Signal Notifications in
the *Chrome
Notification Center* directly but since it is gone, I don’t see any
possibility to do that
