[whispersystems] Is BitHub having problems?

I've been trying to figure out Signal development for the last couple
days. While looking at the BitHub page, I saw that where there should
(presumably) be a description of the current payout, there is only an
image of the text "The current bithub payout in dollars". This shows up
on both the blog post ( https://signal.org/blog/bithub/ ) and the GitHub
Wiki page (
https://github.com/WhisperSystems/Signal-Android/wiki/BitHub-Rewards ). 
https://bithub.herokuapp.com/ is also down for me. I have tried this on
multiple computers, multiple browsers, and with adblock off. I found
nothing about this mentioned in the mailing list archives or on the
blogs. Is BitHub down for maintenance, a depreciated project, or just
broken at the moment?

I think there was a commit recently which removed Bithub. I guess it wasn't
as popular as originally intended.

I'm not sure what the current status is though.

Of course it wasn't popular when there was no maintainer and PRs weren't
getting merged. I wanted to volunteer but I was declined.
