a few things..

[time stamps]
the date+time of messages are show at the end of the messages.

i'd rather have the date+time show at the
beginning. and the date in yyyy-mm-dd.

is there a way to configure it differently?

[sound messages]
also, for sound messages there is no length shown at all. :-/
would be great to see how much data is stored in these
to get a feeling about the amount of data used for them.

[contact import]
today i deleted and reinstalled the signal app in my chromium,
then linked to my phone again and reimported the contacts.
after a few minuted the progresse bar stopped spinning and
nothing more happened. maybe i have too many contacts?
as the progress bar does not say anything at all
i have no idea how many contacts were transferred.
i wish i could see more of what is really going on.
maybe a counter could be added to that? or
is there some logfile which i could look at?

[firefox]
i am using chromium for that siganl app only.
will there be a plugin for firefox?

On the last point regarding Firefox, I wouldn't count on it. Firefox is
phasing out the technology that used to make full-fledged apps possible in
favor of the rather anemic webextensions api as part of the (in principle
good) move to electrolysis. A lot of the more extensive Firefox plugins are
going to have to be discontinued when that is rolled out, so for app
development Firefox is a dying platform, soon dead.
