[whispersystems] Can expiring messages go into a seperate conversation?

Hello,

I built 3.18.3 and uncommented the disappearing messages functionality.
Now I have a question: when I activate it on a conversation, will ALL
messages in that conversation that are older than the selected time
period be deleted, or just the new ones that are received?

If the former is the case, would it be possible to open 2 conversations
for a contact: one with non-disappearing messages, and one with them?
Just like the separate "secret chats" in some other messengers. This
allows for keeping "normal" conversations while still automatically
deleting possibly more sensitive messages.

Hello to all, 
only in this particular question I have to admit that the version of "Russian competitor" works well. Open disappearing messages inside the same conversation and eventually change again after to normal chat. Opening more than one chat is not easy to understand and managed for  people mind behaviour . You can test this one on the "Russian apk too".


Another really big features could be sending High quality photo, (or better than competitor). No other app can do this.Ooops sorry, that is another discussion.
